Winners
Winner: Walking the Wolds, Driffield
The judge blown away by the amount of people who attended Bill and Mrs M's Walking the Wolds 'Star Stuff - Winter Wander'. Most of the walkers were members (although some had travelled hundreds of miles to join the group) and everyone spoke so positively about their experiences within the group and after experiencing a walk for they could only agree! Despite being new to the group and on her own with her dog, they were welcomed by EVERYONE. The walk had a friendly feel and although it was centred around four-legged companions, this group is so much more: a place where confidence is built, new friendships are forged and everyone is included without question. A truly REMARKABLE experience, led by a truly remarkable lady and her slightly bonkers-but-brilliant one-eyed, fox red retriever.
Finalists:
Winner: Doubletree by Hilton, Hull

Of course, the building alone cannot deliver a memorable event alone and it must be said all the staff we met were welcoming and very knowledgeable. The overall ambiance was relaxing. The question is would we recommend this venue... the answer is absolutely.
