Visitor information in Hull and East Yorkshire is delivered via a network of Tourist Information Centres (TICs) and Tourist Information Points (TIPs) aimed at providing idea, support and print to visitors in the area. A range of services are provided to visitors from information on the area, to ticket booking services, help with transport routes and parking, while local businesses benefit from the team’s detailed knowledge of the area and promotion of businesses.

What to expect at the tourist information centres

Hull and East Yorkshire tourist information are based in a variety of locations across the region with TIC teams at each centre welcoming visitors to the area. Helping visitors make the most of their time in the area with a variety of resources and knowledge on accommodation, things to do, places to visit and what’s on. Staff are trained in answering a wide range of enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face. As local experts, they can support visitors with practical information for their stay such as parking, bus timetables and suitable places to visit. Coach permit and parking

Visitor information services welcome coaches and groups to the area and can support in several ways. Book a meet and greet service in Beverley, with a tiered system you can provide a suitable welcome for your coach group, as well as ensuring coach parking is booked and sorted ahead of time. Coach permits are available in Bridlington to allow drop off and collection at popular locations and busy times run smoothly for your trip.

Tourist Information Points

You can find a range of information available at tourist information points located within Hornsea Museum and Withernsea Lighthouse Museum. Within the museums you’ll find an information point including a selection of leaflets and an interactive kiosk for visitors to explore the Visit East Yorkshire website.
