What are the REYTAs?

The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) celebrate the very best of tourism across Hull and East Yorkshire. The awards showcase remarkable businesses and the inspiring individuals behind them that are creating unforgettable visitor experiences making the region a must-visit destination.

Now in its 16th year, the REYTAs have become a highlight in the Hull and East Yorkshire tourism calendar, recognising excellence across 16 diverse award categories. From accommodation and attractions to food, drink, and visitor experiences, these prestigious awards shine a spotlight on the businesses driving tourism growth in East Yorkshire.

By applying for the REYTAs, your business can:

• Gain recognition as one of the region’s remarkable tourism businesses

• Benchmark yourself against the best in the industry

The application is simple while offering a chance to reflect on all your hard work, based around 4 key topics: top qualities, recent improvements, success and future plans. All entries are carefully assessed by independent judges, with shortlisted finalists receiving an in-person judging visit to experience your remarkable business first-hand.

Your Path to National Recognition

The REYTAs are proudly delivered in partnership with VisitEngland, with a number of categories aligned to the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. Thanks to a shared application process, many REYTA winners will automatically be put forward, if eligible, for judging in the National VisitEngland Awards for Excellence without any further application.

This means your success in Hull and East Yorkshire could take you to the national stage, raising your profile across the UK tourism industry.

A Night to Remember

Winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony in November 2026, bringing together the region’s tourism leaders for an unforgettable evening of celebration.

Showing clearly how visitors are encouraged to behave in a responsible way throughout their visit or stay.

This person is selected independently based on in the judgement that they have made a significant contribution to tourism in our region. Nominations are invited from the local tourism industry.
