Who are VHEY? What do they do?

Visit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) is a Local Visit Economy Partnership (LVEP), supported by the VHEY LVEP advisory board, which aims to promote the region, support the amazing tourism industry and grow the value of the visitor economy. The VHEY team are enthusiastic about the area and dedicated to supporting tourism and hospitality businesses including:

Support for your business

VHEY works closely with business support services at Invest Hull and Invest East Yorkshire, who are able to provide 1-2-1 guidance and support, useful workshops and events, information on funding opportunities and relevant industry news and updates. There is no better support than that of like-minded businesses working towards the same goals, and so VHEY strives to connect businesses with networks and forums that are relevant, encourage collaboration and share similar goals.

Working in partnership

VHEY works in partnership with organisations such as VisitEngland, England’s Coast and Mark Hibbert PR and many more in order to connect businesses with further opportunities and amplify promotion and empower businesses. Working in partnership with the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, allows the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) to not only become a powerful business development tool but provides opportunities for winners to gain national recognition. VHEY’s partnership with England’s Coast enhances coastal tourism and connects the region with a wider network of seaside destinations. These partnerships empower local tourism businesses by driving footfall, increasing media exposure, and fostering sustainable growth across the visitor economy.
