Our key goals are to:

Restaurant week 1st - 7th Febrauary 2026

VHEY are inviting cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars across Hull and East Yorkshire to showcase their best menus during this exciting event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to attract new customers, boost bookings, and gain exposure through our powerful marketing channels.

Offer requirements

  • Each business may submit up to 4 offers.
  • All offers must include food and drink.
  • Offers must be exclusive to restaurant week (not available at other times).
  • Offers must be priced at one of the
    • 2 main meals + drinks for £20, £30, or £40.
    • 2-course meal + drink for £10, £15, £20, £25, or £30. (These price points are comparable to other successful regional restaurants week events and activity)
  • Offers should:
    • Be clear and easy to understand.
    • Represent good value and include great service.
    • Include at least one vegetarian and/or vegan option.
    • Avoid excessive restrictions or complicated terms.

Menu submission

  • Provide a copy of your menu detailing:
    • Food and drink items included in the offer.
    • Relevant dietary information.
  • Menus can be submitted as PDF, word document, or image format.
  • If you do not have a menu, supply the details and we will create one for you.

Who can get involved

  • Business must be a Visit Hull & East Yorkshire (VHEY) partner.
  • Eligible businesses include cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars that serve food.
  • Business must have premises within the Hull and East Yorkshire boundary (including the Yorkshire Wolds character area).

To get involved in Restaurant Week, simply complete our sign up form by 15th January 2026.

Dog friendly campaign

Our dog friendly campaign aims to capitalise on the growing trend of holidaying with pets.

Recent findings from JustHooit.com reveal that an 23 million UK households (over 40 percent of the population) are proud pet owners, with dogs being the nation's most favoured companions. A remarkable 83 percent of respondents admitted to feeling guilty at the thought of leaving their canine friends behind while on holiday. Additionally, a resounding 67 percent confessed to planning their breaks around their furry friends, emphasising the integral role pets play in shaping travel plans. These pet owners firmly believe that “the dog deserves a holiday too.”

Our campaign is designed to highlight dog-friendly establishments across the region to both residents and visitors. We invite local shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and accommodation providers to sign up, free of charge, and participate in this campaign.

What you'll receive

  • A free 'dogs welcome' window sticker to proudly display on your premises.
  • A listing on the dog friendly pages of either of the Visit Hull or Visit East Yorkshire websites.
