East Yorkshire Local Food and Rural Tourism Network has launched its latest edition of the ‘Enjoy Local Food and Drink Guide’, as it marks its 15th anniversary.

The event was held at The Manor Rooms on The Drewton Estate in South Cave and featured a variety of speakers as well as exhibitor stands.

Katie Taylor MBE, the network’s chair, started the day by launching the EYUP Awards 2026. Katie said, “These awards, open to network members, will celebrate the people, places, producers and projects that make East Yorkshire’s food and hospitality scene so special.”

Members were inspired by representatives from Aitken Venture Group, the Egg Shed Farm Shop in Atwick, Gemini Chocolate from Beverley, Dumble Farm in Arram and Driffield Showground, as they each shared the stories behind their businesses and future plans.

The day was rounded off with a visually stunning and delicious Hockney inspired grazing board, overflowing with East Yorkshire produce and created by the team at Drewton’s.

Councillor Nick Coultish, East Riding of Yorkshire Council cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism said “We’re proud to support the local food and rural tourism network, who represent a key economic strength of our region.  It’s fantastic to see the network thrive and promote local produce and attractions.”

“Residents and visitors should take the opportunity to find out more about the fantastic local businesses in our region, through the food & drink guide.”
